Transylvanian carpet (Moldavia), 2nd third of the 20th century. A Caucasian carpet decoration called Akstafa for this ivory field where a brick and star medallion with floral decoration and its two mihrab niches are surrounded by stylized peacocks and various symbols and geometric plants. Two counter borders with bayadere bands frame the main brickwork box decorated with trophies. 200x140 cm
