"Spring", oil on canvas, sb. 61x50 cm. Provenance: acquired directly from the artist by the present owner. Born in Calcutta, Sakti Burman moved to France on a scholarship and studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. The lyricism and the Indian imagination mix in his painting with the western culture and its traditions. Expert Mr Marc Ottavi
