Bibliography: Same view and framing as the painting entitled "Le Réveil" in the Musée des Beaux-Arts Antoine Lécuyer, Saint-Quentin, reproduced under no. 1075 in the Catalogue Raisonné. Provenance: Marcel CLEMENT Collection, friend of ceramist Emile LENOBLE, whose son Jacques LENOBLE married Hélène LEBASQUE, known as NONO, daughter of Henri LEBASQUE. It was through these friendships that Marcel CLEMENT acquired several paintings by Henri LEBASQUE, including this "Nu ôtant sa chemise", which remained in the collector's family until this sale.
